2.25 Warwick – Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) (3m 1f)
A very competitive handicap hurdle contest at we have here at Warwick of which you could make a case for the majority of the field.
The one i’m going to take a chance on here is KRIS SPIN for Kerry Lee. He’s not quite up to the level of what he used to be but he’s shown significant improvement on his last few runs and at a decent price I think the course and distance is worth chancing on again.
KRIS SPIN – 12/1 – E/W
2.05 Kempton – 32red Casino Chase (Class 1) (Listed Chase) (2m 4f)
A hot renewal of this Listed chase at Kempton which see’s various big old guns go head to head one again.
God’s Own and Smad’s Place are both top class performers on their day and have more than enough quality between them to lay down a stern challenge here should they be on a going day.
I’m however going to side with the younger horse here though in WAITING PATIENTLY. The northern raider is up in trip here and faces possibly his biggest challenge yet but I think there’s a lot of untapped potential lurking about with this one and there’s a lot more to come yet.
WAITING PATIENTLY – 7/4 –
2.40 Kempton – 32red Lanzarote Handicap Hurdle (Class 1) (Listed Race) (2m 5f)
The Lanzatore this year has thrown up a really competitive renewal with not much seperating the market principals at all.
There’s a good few of these that you could make a fairly strong case for but just edging it for me here is DIESE DES BIEFFES for Nicky Henderson. He’s got talented claimer Mitch Bastyian on board taking off five and he stayed on here on Boxing Day in second giving the impression that the longer trip would suit. He was well in command in his previous two starts at Fontwell and Taunton.
DIESE DE BIEFFES – 11/2 E/W –
