Welsh Grand National Preview. (Chepstow 06/01/2018)

(Class 1) (Grade 3) (Handicap Chase) (3m 5f)

The Welsh National is rearranged to take place this weekend at Chepstow so after having a look at the so far runners that are currently involved I thought I’d get an early blog out.

This will probably prove to be a complete waste of time if the meeting gets called off again or there’s a mass of non runners but there we go.

You could make a case for the majority of these here as alot of them come here with various positive credentials.

I’m going to take somewhat of a gamble on my selection though and that comes in the form of ASK THE WEATHERMAN for Jack Barber. He’s a consistent winning pointer who made a winning start to his season last time out. He also handles heavy ground well so testing conditions shouldn’t be an issue for him. He’s trading at a general 12/1 which I think is a decent each way price.
