Yes. Simple answer to that. So you don’t really need to read the rest of this. But i’ll go on anyway. I forgot to put Postponed in my horses of the year and I probably need sectioning for that, I do apologise Sheik Mohammed, I am a fool. This horse is probably one of if not the best flat horse in Europe at the moment and I for one absolutely love this wonderful behemoth of an animal. He has progressed fantastically this season and I genuinely believe he’s going to continue said progression this Sunday with a win in the Arc. There has been a few key withdrawals that have increased his chances further none more so than arguably the best French hope in La Cressionaire, the unbeaten French filly has been a revelation this season and which I even backed her at 2/7 not so long ago. She definitely would of been a major threat. Key threats that remain in the race are AP O’Brien’s Found, this horse has been heavily backed in the last few days and is currently trading at around 6/1 I believe. Found had a troubled passage in last years Arc and finished back in 9th, however she did go on to defeat last years winner Golden Horn in the Breeders Cup Turf only a few weeks down the line. Makahiki is also another big danger, the Japanese raider is currently second favourite and has said to of been working very well and has great form. France’s best hope now looks to be Irish Champion Stakes winner Almanzor although he’s not certain to run himself, he won the ICS in great style under a cracking Soumillon ride. Currently at around 15/8 I do believe Postponed is the one to side with though. Best horse in the race, best form. He stays, he’s got speed, everything you can ask for. Lump!
